Rollerblade recommends that these skates be sharpened before use. In very few cases, we have noticed some chipping and peeling of the chrome plating on the blades when we sharpen them. This is a cosmetic defect and in no way harms the performance of the skate. If you are concerned about this cosmetic defect, we encourage you to choose another skate model.

Sharpening is available through Skatebuys or you may use a local sharpening resource. Please allow 3 business days for Skatebuys Sharpening.
