These pads are very thin and require no retention pants to hold them in position. They are worn between the tights with the waffled side toward the body. They are almost unnoticeable under the tights. The lack of bulk has made them very popular among young skaters, who want the protection, but will not accept the appearance that other hip pads have.

Gel material is unbelievably shock absorbing - a must for skaters coming back from injuries.
